Send Cards Home with Each Member

The success of your fundraiser depends on getting all of your members involved. Hold a kick-off meeting to start your fundraiser. Simply ask each player to take home at least five cards which could include one for themselves, two for family members and two for friends or co-workers.

Email those you may not see regularly

Your members can email people they don’t see on a regular basis to let them know about your fundraiser.

Organize a Pre-sale Campaign

The earlier you start your team’s fundraiser, the more opportunities you have to sell and the faster you can reach your fundraising goals. You can take orders in advance and deliver the cards when they are ready.

Use Your Website to Fundraise

Let supporters know you are raising money by using the Cosmic Cash Card. This can include a link to our website and your fundraiser web page (if you have one.)

Ask Local Businesses to Help Your Fundraiser

Ask local retailers and restaurants if they will help with your team’s fundraiser. A local business can help your team by put a display on their counter and sell for you. Retailers, in particular, look for ways to help with local fundraising efforts.

Fundraise in Front of Stores and Businesses

Have your team members go where the crowds are. Selling the cards are easy with the great value each card possess but finding buyers may be the most difficult thing. Use high traffic areas to find potential supporters.

Fundraise at Games and Events

Your team events and activities are a great place to fundraise. When you have a meet, game, tournament, or other event, set up a table promoting your Cosmic Cash Card fundraiser. Announce your fundraiser and let everyone know the great cause you are raising money for. This can really help your team sell more and achieve your fundraising goal.
